Coaching
The Watauga Parks and Recreation Department relies on volunteer coaches for youth sports programs.
o Coaches must complete a background check
o Coaches must complete the Code of Conduct
o Coaches must attend a pre-season coaches meeting
The Parks and Recreation Department will provide our volunteer coaches all the tools necessary to be successful that include but are not limited to equipment, coaching documents, drill cards, field space, first aid supplies and more.
