The field reviews are conducted to ensure the data of the property reflects accurately in the county tax records. As a part of this review, all residential and commercial properties will be digitally photographed to ensure that all improvements can be compared consistently and uniformly, as well as to validate property addresses and locations to assist emergency services. Staff will be driving vehicles with door magnets attached identifying them as Watauga County Appraisal. Appraisers will be wearing a safety vest and lanyard with a photo ID Badge attached.
